Job Description
A new opportunity exists for a top candidate for the position of
Consulting Director. We seek an experienced professional from the Oracle
community who can take over operation of the consulting practice, create
new direction and build up a successful consulting business. This
professional is expected to possess prior experience operating and
current experience managing the Oracle ERP Applications, Database and
Tools. This candidate is well versed in formulating and delivering
complex Oracle-based solutions to Fortune 1000 companies, State and
Local governments and Higher Education Institutions.
Experience required includes a four-year

Database
Administrator
Job Description
The Database Administrator is primarily responsible for delivery of
technical database services to our clients.
The DBA must be able
to install the Oracle 9i database and install, upgrade, or patch the
Oracle Applications. The DBA will understand the technical architecture
requirements for the applications and will recommend solutions for fault
tolerance, security, back up / recovery, space management, and
performance improvement. In addition, the DBA may convert legacy data to
initialize the Applications and create interfaces to non-Oracle systems.

Compensation
Generally, we try to structure an
individualized compensation package for each of our consultants. Your
package will incorporate the features that are important to
you. We know that your skills and time are valuable, and
full time travel to client sites is a difficult life style. Therefore,
BOSS Corporation consultants and practice managers are well compensated.
All consultants are paid for all billable hours (i.e. overtime is paid
for more than 40 hours/week), and salaried consultants are paid while
between projects. Travel time (unless it is billable) is not
compensated. Living and travel expenses while at the client site are
usually reimbursed by the client through BOSS Corporation.
BOSS Consultants may participate in cash
incentive programs to develop additional business (sales commission for
leads and jobs even if they aren't working on the job) and recruit new
consultants to the firm (up to $5000 per placement).
Benefits for salaried employees include
paid vacation, paid holidays, medical /dental / prescription / vision /
life insurance, and continuing education.
